As an Assistant Professor in India, I teach Development Studies and Gender Studies to postgraduate students — and when I’m not in the classroom, I’m exploring words and worlds as a researcher, writer, and mother. Check out my CV here.
I am currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Development Studies at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. I have worked as Sir Ratan Tata Post-Doctoral Fellow at the International Inequalities Institute, London School of Economics

I have PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee (University Grants Commission-Junior Research Fellowship) and Masters Degrees in Women Studies and Development Studies. I have also completed various short-term courses from international agencies such as International Training Centre-International Labor Organization (ITC-ILO);
